Vintage Bentley R-Type in Deep Red with Victorian White Side Panels.

Special Vintage Wedding Cars for the South East.

Emily our 1958 Bentley S1 In Oxford Blue.

All our vintage wedding cars are given names and this lady of elegance is Emily. In her past she had royal connections and is now forty-nine years old and in immaculate condition.  Even Pierce Brosnan was impressed with our Emily.  Click the image and see.

Emily is a Bentley Series S now known as the Bentley S1. This wedding car was first registered in 1958 where she is finished in a beautiful oxford blue colour (a very deep blue).

The shine to the paintwork is so deep that it reflects its surroundings as seen in the photograph. The interior as shown below has all the usual refinements that have made Rolls-Royce and Bentley the most luxurious cars in the world and therefore so well suited as wedding cars.

Your wedding or other special occasion will be complimented by the elegance and class imparted by this superb example of the finest of Classic motor cars ever manufactured. Where additional vehicles are required, such as for your bridesmaids, a wonderful supporting car is the classic Jaguar S-Type. We are able to provide you with one of these in an identical colour to this Bentley S1. Click here to get an idea as to how these two vehicles match so wonderfully and not just in colour, but style also.

For the latter journey, cocktail tables are built into the rear of the front seats should you wish for that first drink as husband and wife. As in all our wedding cars, lambs wool floor rugs are provided. In the case of this vehicle they are in either deep cherry red or cream depending on weather conditions. The rear seat of this Bentley S1 Wedding Car is like sitting on the most comfortable of sofas. A wedding car we are very proud of.

And some history about the Bentley S Series. First introduced in 1955, the Bentley S-Type was a larger car than the R-Type that it replaced which was really a late 40s design. The S1s power came from an enlarged version of the R-Types six cylinder engine. Early cars were available with manual transmission, however most cars had a four speed automatic gearbox, power steering was only available from 1956 (much needed!).

The engine capacity is 4887cc where the car has a top speed of 120mph reaching 60 in 12.9 seconds.  Fuel consumption is 12 mpg. Between 1955-1959, 3107 were produced where many of them still exist and are frequently used as wedding cars due to them being so well suited for the purpose.
